Black & White or White & Black?

It's always fun to work with my two girlfriends, Ibby and Carolyn. They like the same things, but always make it just a little different. That a good thing, right? We're all making a wild and crazy quilt, using brights and black and whites. Tomorrow our first exchange of blocks is due.

While I was making my 12" blocks, Clyde thought he could hide and keep cool here. This is my new chair that my feet actually touch the floor when I sit in it!
Ibby's
Carolyn's

Mine - I already had a pink block using this same fabric

And then while I was taking pictures of the blocks on the floor, he posed for this one and wouldn't leave me alone until he had his picture taken. The big ham!

LOve the blocks. This quilt should be fun. Love the cat also, he reminds me of my daughters cat, Panther.

I like the way they think you can't see them... but half their butt and tail is still out in the open, or there's this huge lump under the blanket. :)

Neat blocks too!

Where did the kitty go, I don't see him.... yeah right. Very cute and fun blocks too. Glad you are getting to have some fun.

Great blocks. I am curious to see how the whole quilt top will look.

What a fun home-coming...to be able to work on some fun blocks with girlfriends!

Glad you're home safe...and playing in your fabric purchases. (Which...I'm still very envious of your whites/blacks!!!) ;-)

Great blocks! And Clyde looks pretty dang hot in the bottom picture--no wonder he likes to hide.

Great cats, wonderfully happy blocks, what more could one ask? Good to have fun.

Great blocks...as you could tell I love black and white prints!!

Silly cats love to "hide" or so they think they are hidden. As long as their head is under something no one can see them!!

At 5'3" I've never had a chair where my feet were anywhere near the floor when I sat down!! Egads!

Oh that is so fun to see how you each did them kind of different. My mil and sil get home soon. They went to KC and went to that garden you went to with the glass exhibit (forget the guys name). I can't wait to see their pics of it and comments!

OK, maybe it was St Lois, not KC - I"m tired.

Is there a pattern for that block?
