Quilting Fairy

The Quilting Fairy has been busy here at Chez Granny's. I just wonder why she and Bonnie cat can't clean up after themselves when they get all these fabrics out to play?

30 blocks on the design wall to be sewn; 59 fabrics (two repeats); finished size will be 45" X 54" without borders.

Hmm, I wonder if the Quilting Fairy does letters?

Thanks for all the well wishes. Hubby is happily home, and my mother is doing better this weekend, too.

Your cat in the basket looks like the flash disturbed him... :) Better watch it or he'll get revenge!

I like the colors in this little quilt - but it makes me want to see the pictures that are in each block up close!

So glad to hear your loved ones are doing better. I think sometimes people don't realize how hard it is on the caregiver.

Your quilt fairy is very pretty. I hope she does good work! Looks like the kitty kept guard. Seeing her in that basket made me laugh...she reminded me of a hen sitting on a nest!

I am also curious about the center squares. Love the overall look of the quilt. Great matching of colours.

Oh I used the fabric by the fairy's left foot in my Aunt Betty quilt, don't you love it...the teal with the little pink flower bouquets? I do anyway, it looks so 30's and pretty. The quilt is looking really good, sorry but I don't think fairy and bonnie cat will put the blocks together for you, but you could hope!

Glad hubby is home and everyone is doing better!!

The quilting fairy is cute; where did you get her? And your black cat looks so much like mine. Karen

When my daughter was younger she believed in fairies. We bought a bunch of the Cicely Mary Barker books for her and I made her 2 quilts out of the fabric line. I will have to get to our Tuesday morning and see if they have any fairies.
