March Weights and Measures

Another successful month - actually 28 days! I am very pleased with the results of my efforts! There are many days I feel like an old woman at the gym, especially while my trainer helps me stretch, and I inadvertently groan or moan. But, I'll get there!

The news is very good - I've lost a total of 12.55 pounds, and a total of 15.5" from my body which is more inches than pounds in the last month. The weight loss is actually 13.2 lbs of fat, but I gained .85 of lean muscle! To be exact:

3" from my hips,
2" from my calf
2.5" from my waist
4" from my bust
2.5" from my neck

Then again, today I was outside with our grandson, Stephen, and now I see my picture, and I think I still have a long way to go. But I have to remind myself, that just two months ago, I couldn't even squat in this position, let alone sit that way for a long time while he talked to all the fish in the pond!

Ask her to tell you about the death-defying frog with nine pond lives. He is out there watching tonight......

Good job! All that muscle you are aquiring will also burn more fat. You must feel great! Your grandson is so cute! I don't have any kids (my choice) but I sure wish I could have grandkids! :)

Great job Sharon! I decided this was the year I was going to do better with exercise. I have been
working out daily on my ab lounge but I still need to get myself out and start walking. Thanks for sharing your success!

Adorable pic! Stephen is getting so big! And congrats on the weightloss. I tried to imagine what 12 lbs of fat would look like just sitting on the kitchen counter....that IS alot! I had to giggle at the 4" off your chest...I think that is the only part my hubby would complain about..;c)

I think that is an awesome amount Sharon...! And as a person with weight issues, I know how hard it comes off and how long it takes!!
You are doing a great job...keep up the good work..*VBS*

Sharon, you're doing great! Didn't take one day to get that weight on and it's not going to come off in one day. A little bit at a time is the best way to lose it. Congratulations.

Good for you going to the gym. Your grandson is adorable...cute as a button. I have a 19 month old great grandson and it is all I can do to keep up with him. I really need to get some exercise and lose some weight. I'm putting it off until the weather warms though. Keep up the good work...it sounds like you're doing really great.

And you!!! You are doing so well. And I would have to bet that you're feeling more confident, walking taller, and thinking healthier, right?!

Cheers to you!!!
